But this is too well-reasoned and supported by facts and statistics to completely disregard.
For the record, just because I attended a UW football camp many years ago does not make me anything close to a fan... there was a split second of hesitation when I was 8 years old, but it was literally a split second.
Here's the article: http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/story?id=7211166&_slug_=boise-state-broncos-worthy-playing-bcs-title-cfb&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fcollege-football%2fstory%3fid%3d7211166%26_slug_%3dboise-state-broncos-worthy-playing-bcs-title-cfb
In this article, Brock Huard underscores the perception (which we can simply just call a myth) and lays out the reality as it pertains to Boise State. I think he's pretty dead on in his analysis.
Call me a homer, I don't care. I AM! I love me some Broncos! And I'm glad SOMEBODY at ESPN is giving credit where it's due, even it comes from some former jock who ESPN thinks nothing of and gives him little more that a blog accompanied with a subscription that anybody reading about the Broncos will have to actually subscribe to (and consequently give ESPN money) in order to do so...
Do I have to ask the question what you think Bronco Nation? Really, I think it's silly at this point as we all know the truth but feel free to comment anyway.
Go Broncos!
