Why do I say such heresies? Because it might just happen. How? After barely losing a kicking fest to LSU, Alabama only dropped one place in the BCS rankings to #3. If Oakie Jr. losses to Oakie Prime then they will drop and Bama will be #2 once again. Even if #4 Stanford beats Oregon, they likely still won't pass Bama due to their weak SOS. If LSU wins the SEC Championship then they are assured to remain #1. That would put #1 LSU and #2 Alabama in a boring rematch game of last week's "Game of the Century". If Georgia wins the SEC East and loses to LSU in the conference championship they would still likely get the Sugar bowl bid, since the SEC's top two schools are gone to the BCS NCG. And I bet the SEC would love a rematch of UGA - Boise just to prove that it was a fluke. If UGA wins, then everyone will say, "See. It was fluke. Boise can't do it twice." But if the Broncos win they will say, "Well, Georgia was an overrated SEC team (even though they won the SEC East)."

Now what if UGA beats LSU in the SEC Championship? How does that upset the apple cart?
