This is the first (official) step in changing conferences. Boise State maintains that they have not received an invitation yet, but that should change shortly. During the meeting, it became clear that Boise State wants another true western school like Air Force to join them. Also, why is Boise State answering to the State Board of Education while every other school has a Board of Trustees or Board of Regents or at least some board that doesn't have a rival school's alumnus on it? (Ex Vandal Bill Goesling gave the lone dissenting vote) Could you imagine if someone from Baylor was voting on Texas A&M's exit?
Apparently he has been working on getting his elevation up on the PAT's. Here's hoping that he can get into some sort of rhythm and become reliable.
A.J. Hilliard is a 3 star linebacker from Klein, Texas that had committed to Arizona but decided to decommit after Mike Stoops was fired. He said that he is considering Boise State along with Baylor, West Virginia and TCU.
The Boise State Elvises make an appearance too. What do you guys think of it? I think it's worlds better than the commercial randomly panning over the Boise State landscape with some weird country type song playing in the background.
He makes a startling comparison: LSU has been Boise State with humidity. LSU has had its rise to prominence in the last 10 years. Before that, they were mediocre. They were able to do that by finally recruiting Louisiana's talent.
