What a joke the Davey Obrien Award is! They feign fan participation by letting fans vote on their favorite in the first two rounds and among the finalists. The results are in no way reflected in the final selection.
And Oh, yes! They base the award (in addition to quarterback skills), on character, academics and leadership. Last year's winner: Cam Newton who left Florida before getting kicked out for academic cheating. Don't ever waste your time voting in this sham.
