My wife loves college football. She doesn't care much for the pro game at all. She lives for Saturdays, and Fridays, and even some Thursdays. She and her family are die-hard UCLA fans, and big USC haters. As am I. I am also a giant Bronco's fan. And now so is she (and so is her mom). In fact she looks forward to the Boise games each week and is greatly upset when we can't watch the games here in Colorado because we don't get Versus. But anyway, to my point.
We were watching the Fresno State game on ESPN (one of only 3 that we get to watch this season on ESPN) and she was beyond pissed and disappointed when Boise "let" (in her words) the Bulldogs score. And she was nervous and scared when they came so close to scoring again late in the 4th quarter. She wasn't nervous that the Broncos might lose, but rather that they might not win by as much. I keep telling her next season might a big letdown for her, but she refuses to listen. She thinks that Boise should stop the other team every time and that is they ever allow a score then its a disappointing game.
This is one of the reasons why I love my wife.
