When I first heard the news that the Big 12 had extended an invite to TCU I was sick to my stomach. I pretty much knew that any remote chance that we had to get invited was gone. I have had some time to reflect on what this means for our Broncos and these are my final thoughts: 1) TCU's chances of ever getting into a BCS game ever again are slim to none. If they had remained in the Big East they would be in just about every year, but now I can't see them making it at all (Being a conference jumping whore has it's costs). 2)Boise State will continue to have the "underdog" tag applied to them. They will be the "little school" that all the "big boys" are afraid to schedule. We will continue to be relevant. We will continue to be in the pole position year in and year out to get the non-aq bcs invite.
While a part of me would love to see what great things would come from having aq money coming in every year. I am pretty happy with our situation in the college football world. Take care of the things that we can control and the rest will all work out.
