"The Boise State Broncos dropped to #5 in the AP Rankings after an unimpressive victory over Nevada in which Kellen Moore and the Bronco receivers had an uncharacteristically off-day."
People, we need to put more points on the board, and hold our opponents to less. We cannot afford to pull our starters and allow the enemy to score 21 points in the final quarter. We need to bring the hammer and put on a smack down of Biblical proportions. We are going into the cupcake section of schedule. We are getting no help from any of our upcoming opponents. Tulsa couldn't keep it close against OU or OSU. Fresno can't beat the big boys, even the weak ones like Ole Miss. Nevada has been no help. Even TCU has let us down after losing to Baylor, and now dropping out of the rankings after a loss to SMU. It looks like we are going to need to do it on our own. That means that we need to win and win big. We need to Kellen and the starters in for sixty minutes and run up the score. Every game from here on out should 60+ to 10-. Every win needs to be mega impressive. It's the only way we can keep from dropping even further in the rankings. I know the backups need the practical regular season on-field practice, but we need to put the nail in the coffin. Period.
