Yes—it's that Marty Tadman! Last night, I had an opportunity to chat with ole Mr. Everything Marty Tadman and he didn't disappoint. We discuss the CSU game, where he stands on conference re-alignment, and just how difficult a task the defense will face this weekend against the triple-option of Air Force. Of course, I snuck in a few member-submitted questions as well, and Marty graciously answered them all—although I must warn you, Kevan will not be happy with his blizzard answer. Boise State dropped in to a BCS qualifying league
I enjoyed listening to this interview but I have to say, I was VERY surprised by Marty’s position that were BSU to be dropped in to one of the bigger leagues (SEC, Big 10, etc) right now, that the Broncos would struggle to compete. I agree if BSU gets in to a BCS conference, they would have better recruiting and thus a potentially better team. To say, though, that right now, the Broncos would struggle to compete seem to me, to go against most expert and fan opinions. If BSU does not have the ability to be dropped in to any conference in the country and compete RIGHT NOW, why are the Broncos ranked number 5? It’s actually a little disheartening to me to hear a former player basically agree with the SOS argument that gets thrown around by those opposed to seeing BSU in the NC game…
I don't think they'd struggle to compete...but they wouldn't be winning the SEC.

You cannot reason a man out of something he didn't reason himself into in the first place.
