WARNING!!! This is all conjecture. Just my personal thoughts, hopes and dreams. I have not read any rumors to support them. It's just me throwing up smoke. Now let's get to it.
Q: Is there a chance in heaven that Arkansas might ever want to leave the SEC and rejoin its former Southwest Conference brethren in the Big 12?
I mean, that would be great as I'm pretty sure the B12 would jump at the Razorbacks and then wouldn't be raiding the Big East. That could leave a spot for us in the B12, or if they pass on us then at least we would be going to a Big East that is staying put as is (except that maybe the B12 might take WVU as number 12, but that's it). I also really think that when the B12 and SEC both get back to 12 all this super-conference crap will end. The ACC will hold firm at 14, which means UConn and Rutgers aren't going anywhere and we'd be set in our nice cupcake AQ conference.
Thoughts? Have I been sniffing to many markers lately, or is there even a remote possibility it could happen?
