My first order of business on NCAA 12
Bench Southwick. I really hope Laughrea, Patti & Hedrick blow him out of the water come spring & fall camps.
It's all about perspective. The sinking of the Titanic was a miracle to the lobsters in the ship's kitchen.

Agreed
I don’t see Boise beating the Spartans with Southwick under center.

I'm not so sure. There's a reason he's No. 2 right now, and I trust what Coach Pete sees in him.
Southwick is not getting 1st team reps. And that means a lot. He’ll have all Spring and Summer to prepare with his boys. Hopefully Kellen’s mind mold will have done a good enough job to help Joe make solid decisions with the ball. Kellen was the King of throwing the ball away when a play wasn’t there. Here’s hoping that mindset permeates ALL of our Quarterback stable.
The key is not the "will to win" - everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important. ~ Bobby Knight

So you're saying we have a chance...
You cannot reason a man out of something he didn't reason himself into in the first place.

"It takes no talent to give great effort" -Chris Petersen
"It's hard to imagine a more complete football team than Boise State" - Kirk Herbstreit
"Watch the point, catch the fat." - Larry Fitzgerald
Rec'd on the mind meld...
Kellen whispers “Joe, Joe, trust the force…use it you will.” I think you will see a dual QB format in 2012, with Joe being the leader. Patti will redshirt and perhaps come back as the 2nd coming of St Kellen in 2013…and that will be a serious competition.
Seriously, can you imagine the pressure to replace a guy like #11? Then again, Kirbo, Matt, Mitch, Tyler and Geraldo were facing big pressure to replace #1 and #2…and as it turns out, no problem.
I will root for Alabama or Ohio State if they play the Chinese...maybe.
I will root for Auburn if they play Al Qaida, Hamas or the Phillies
