The DVD has finally arrived. It's a couple of weeks late but it is still here. I have watched it stem to stern a couple of times.....except for the highlights of the Reno game. Watched it for the first time this morning. Still hurts. Alot.

This year's DVD is a different than in years past. There are 6 sections broken down as follows:

1. The Story Behind 2010

2. Season in Highlights

3. MAACO Bowl Las Vegas

4. Game Changing Plays of the Year

5. Bronco Nation Tribute

6. Bronco MOJO 20-10

Here is what sets it apart from past DVD's:

1. The Soundtrack- There are no "songs" on the DVD other than what's in the background. All the music is sans lyrics and is has a large techno feel to go with what we saw on the (notso) Jumbo Tron at Bronco Stadium

2. There is no running score for each game. Only the final score is shown....except for Reno. Imagine that.

3. The 2010 Fiesta Bowl is part of the lead in to "The Story Behind 2010." Don't remember a win from a previous season being included before.

4. Way. Better. Video. Quality.

5. No Narration. The play and play-by-play speaks for itself.



My Personal Highlights from the DVD (in no particular order).

1. Special attention paid to "The Drive" vs. Virginia Tech. Twice.

2. Doug Martin trucking some poor sod from Wyoming.

3. "Shilo Keo just got a mouthful of Doug Martin!"

4. Kellen Moore looking up at the clock before he threw the 14-yard game winner to Austin Pettis vs. Virginia Tech. This shot was from a camera in the end zone. Shows Kellen's awareness and savvy. Damn.

5. Kyle Efaw going after a catch vs. Fresno State. He doesn't come up with the ball but does blow up a sideline camera. Nice touch with the music.

6. "Uncle" Brent Musburger. Sure he can be a bit long-winded and overbearing but the overhead picture of Boise and Bronco Stadium vs. Oregon State punctuated with "YOU ARE LOOKING LIVE......" will always choke me up just a touch. Never thought that would happen in my lifetime. Ever.
