With so many cupcakes on the schedule and inevitable sloppy play in Week One, few questions that lingered during the preseason were answered. Boise State seemingly had the best win of the weekend, but is that enough to propel them to No. 1 on their own fan site? You'd think so, wouldn't you.
Weigh in on OBNUG's BlogPoll after the jump, see where the Broncos landed, and give your thoughts on how the final poll should shake out.
Alabama breezed by San Jose St., and the Crimson Tide remain at No. 1. Yes Boise State had the marquee win, but the Tide are the defending champs and should stay atop the poll until someone beats them or until they play a more formidable opponent that can provide a better barometer to measure Alabama's inexperienced defense. The second week of games - and a matchup with Penn State - should give us an answer.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "
Moving Up:
-
TCU - The Frogs also passed their season opening test relying on the legs of Andy Dalton and Co. to get past Oregon State. Ha, frog legs.
-
Oregon - Even Justin Corr would not have a facial expression to explain the offensive show the Ducks displayed on Saturday. Hanging 72 is impressive, no matter who it is against. Wilcox and his Volunteer defense will have their work cut out for them this week. And just kidding about the Justin Corr face.
"72 points?! Sweet sassy molassey!" (via assets.sbnation.com)
- South Carolina - Maybe because it was Thursday night and it had been months since I last saw a college football game, but Stephen Garcia and the Gamecocks looked impressive in their victory over Southern Miss.
- Michigan/Notre Dame: Are either of these teams on their way back? RichRod seems to have found a quarterback and Kelly is changing the culture in North Bend. I couldn't rank both, so the winner of next week gets to stay in the poll.
Moving Down:
- Week one rust: Texas, Oklahoma, and particularly Florida didn't look sharp against what should have been overmatched opponents.
-
Cincinatti: The Bearcats go from Sugar Bowl participants to two-touchdown losers in "The Valley." Get the motor on the Pat Hill bandwagon warmed up. Where is Graham Watson when you need her? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you, GW.
How would your poll look? Even I am not sure what I was thinking with Iowa at No. 5. Ummmm...did I completely forget about Arkansas? Anybody else? Give your suggestions and influence the final poll.
