We're doing things a little different for Predict the Score this year. The new rules: First commenter to predict a score exactly right this season wins a Boise State jersey of his/her choice. Will it happen in Week One? I guess that depends on how clairvoyant you are.

Personally, I think 20 points is still too much to give VT, but 20 is such a good, round number.
I don’t know about anyone else, but you know when you’re watching a game and you have to go to the bathroom or get food (or whatever else you do during a game besides watch it), and you have to decide when to go (i.e. – while your team is on offense or defense, etc.)…….. Well, in the past I chose to go while the team is on defense. This year, I don’t think I want to make a choice. Maybe a catheter or a portable commode will work……

Being that I just finished my NCAA 2011 game between the two and won 54-17, I’d hope we still win in a nice fashion. Boise State will win this game.

Boise gets ahead early by 2 td’s and keeps the pressure on tyrod taylor and the hokie offense. Boise later gets up by 17 after a fg and beamer realizes he has to abandon the running game and thats when the game breaks down for the hokies and boise gets em in the end after a hard fought battle by the hokies. GO BRONCOS!

tbh Beamer never really abandons the run game
unless we’re down deep with like five minutes left, we’ll keep running.
even against Georgia Tech last year, a game we trailed from basically halftime on, TT only threw 14 passes.
The last time I can remember Tech throwing away the run game was against GT in 2006 with Sean Glennon throwing the ball some 50 times. If that happens tomorrow then we’re toast.

I picked against the Broncos? really.. Don’t forget to become one of the people you hate. oh… wait. you’re already there. Get over yourself. It’s just a stupid prediction. I’m not going to lie. I’m not confident going in to the game. Do I think we have a shot? of course, but if there is one thing I’ve learned from watching the Broncos and being a fan, is to never be too sure. Like Nike made our uniforms to show off our unpredictable style of play, they were right on. The Broncos are unpredictable. You never know what team is going to show up. They could win this game yes, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost by 21+ either.
