As I've stated before I am a Florida St. Seminoles fan along with being a Boise St. fan. I have supported the Noles since I was 10 when my Dad and I both chose Bowden's character over Miami's brashness.

I made a quick post on Tomahawk Nation to try and get a gauge from the fans' perspective of how Jimbo Fisher is doing with that program since it is next to impossible for me to get good news out here and these blog sites are new to me. You would have thought I had run out to midfield to meet Chief Osceola so I could wizz on his flaming spear. Holy smokes, they were some of the most bitter, malcontent, abusive fanbases I've run into recently. The fanbase I grew up with was pretty chivalrous, something that you could be proud to be a part of., very similar to this Boise St. fanbase. What I witnessed was much closer to the overly aggressive Hurricanes fanbase I remember.

It was bad enough as to make me wonder if I want to be associated with such contempt and hatred moving fwd. I have a loyalty streak a mile wide and it would be hard as heck to just completely dump the Seminoles but it's like I don't know who they are anymore.

I think this can be directly linked to the poll I recently put up and Notso's view point within that subject matter. I don't care how illogical it may be, let's try our utmost not to become "those guys"
