I know the first game is going to be tough, but I am hoping for a major blowout. Not that it matters, we will never get any respect even when we beat Alabama for the NC.

I just hope they keep their focus on games and states that are 4 to 6 years old. They don’t seem to realize that reqruiting has changed a little around here.
I get so sick of hearing about our 1 game season. It’s true, we can’t deny it, and it stinks. But on the flip side, our season could be over in one game.
The whole blue field thing cracks me up. It’s called home field advantage for a reason. Yes, it’s a gimmick. Get over it and play football.

Alabama 2009 NC team, 5 years ago goes 3-9

As we all know, the Georgia game in 2005 never happened. It was digitally remastered from tapes of previous individual BSU & UGA games, spliced together to simulate a UGA beat down, and played live using 3-D holograms to appease UGA & SEC fans at tremendous expense.

The resulting cover-up and enormous guilt experienced by this fabrication eventually lead to Georgia’s AD’s recent demise.

I thought we beat The Ducks 19-8 and not 14-9 as reported as a fact over there. I don’t know…. whatever.

Some of the follow-up comments at their blog were reasonably lucid and fair. But while reading most of the comments by the "haters," I sensed a mixture of jealousy, resentment, arrogance, and even apprehension. I mean if they are so good and we are so insignificant,… why did they bother to dis Boise at all.

They hate us. Our SOS. And our Blue. They don’t want us sitting at “their” table. What would they like us to do about it… curl up in the fetal position and quit, or continue to "slog" (their word) away and do what we can to win games, improve SOS, and light the candles of respect across the land.

I say screw ‘em.

I do not under any circumstances want the disrespect/ trash talk to end. We all know full and well how this team is wired when it comes to that. Clearly many in the Tide fan base did not pat attention to the Utah/Bama bowl game, or they chose to buy into Sabin’s excuses. Either way I view that article as a positive, and hope more of the kind are to follow. Thanks for the link.

I see what they are doing over there is what we do with Wyoming, Toledo etc. Let them have their fun.

Why am I supposed to care what they think? Doesn’t change my reality. On the other hand, their perceived reality could come crashing down because of their prejudice and ignorance.

I don’t hate other teams or talk bad about other teams. There is no reason to. I might chew up and spit out a few fans if I had the time however.

I rip idiots, not the school’s they are a fan of. The schools don’t deserve that. The fans might though.

Ripping their heads off verbally would be child’s play because of their bias and ignorance. Doing so means you keep getting sucked back into their world of lunacy when they respond and also they will not recognise they have been beheaded. It turns into a never ending thread of stupidity. I don’t have the time nor the desire to do so, especially when it does no good. You are not going to shift the paradigms in their limited world.

I can’t stop every fan out from licking windows. I am not even going to try.

Boise State and Utah have similar accomplishments on a national level, but Boise State’s record is much better in the last decade. Some teams won’t shut up till you smack’em in the mouth.

And we caught Oregon by surprise. What the hell kind of lame excuses are these.
Also, I keep hearing about all us Boise fans crying about this and crying about that.
The media gets these issues started and the critics take the issues for a ride and some how all us fans are crying about it?? Other than a few bloggers, how are we crying about anything?

Because I’m really bored, I spent from here to here (3 hours) defending the blue turf and how it does NOT create an unfair advantage on this ‘’Bama board and getting nowhere with this PeteHoliday (he’s a brick wall, don’t bother yourselves) guy and few others. I used sideline photgrapher pictures, my own pictures, and a video of my kids playing on the blue (to show them how cute they were a QB’s perspective) and none of it was helping.. Then, someone asked if there were stats to show that Boise gets more interceptions on the blue than on road games. Then I remembered … Mikrino made me create a whole state folder of links for just this exact reason!
