As of now, our 2011 out of conference schedule is:
- @ Ole Miss
- Wyoming
- @ Toledo
- Tulsa
- Utah
However, if we are to accept the pending invite to the MWC (note: there is no news of a pending invite), then we would be needing to replace 1 of the 2 "tough" OOC opponents: Utah.
My bet is that Gene would then be scheduling the Idaho Vandals as our 5th OOC opponent. Sure the MWC is a better conference as a whole (for now) than the WAC, but not good enough for naysayers to dismiss 4 OOC cupcakes.
Will we ever be rid of this plague?
I meant the weak schedules, not Idaho -- although that would be good, too.
