The NFL Draft starts today, and everybody's favorite cornerback is getting lots of love from the media. My thoughts about this and a poll (if I can figure out how to insert one) after the jump.
When Ryan Clady was drafted 12th overall by the Denver Broncos, he blew away all past expectations of what a Boise State player could expect to happen to them during NFL team's yearly upgrades. Talented Broncos have headed to the draft before and since, but the big guy was (as far as I can tell, though I'm young) BSU's first "sexy" pick. However, Kyle Wilson has a chance to replicate-possibly even surpass-that success. In the dozens of draft projections I've read, I've seen him placed everywhere from an unflattering 59th in Dallas to Cleveland's #7 pick in the first round.
Where do you think KW will go? What is the best/worst projection you've seen in a mock draft, and what are your thoughts on this draft in general? Is looking good for a half against BSU enough to catapult Ryan Matthews to first round money, and is it o.k. to take the Munson in vain in one's first ever post on OBNUG?
Poll
Where do you think Kyle Wilson will go in the draft?
Definite top ten, blowing away all BSU haters. Craig James will console Joe Haden in Texas Tech's shed of shame. (4 votes)
Mid to late first round. Still awesome, but Bronco fans will be irritated to see Mark May sporting a Joe Haden jersey on ESPN. (24 votes)
Early in the second round. Vandals act as if Iupati getting picked first counts the same as a victory on the field. (0 votes)
Bad luck abounds! Kyle get's Munson'd to the later rounds or even to free agent mop up ala' Ian Johnson. (0 votes)
