Wow.

Jeron Johnson, I think, needs to become a more solid tackler. I think he missed some open field tackles. He needs to become better there.

I never would have expected the hero tackler of the Poinsettia to get that kind of a review. I’m totally ok with more J.J. penalties if it means that he played like he did in ’08.

Loque I'm confused

I sure don’t recall many open field missed by JJ. In Fiesta II Iloka missed a few but he influenced the runner enough that they still got him, in fact George cleaned ‘em up as I recall. JJ was solid all year if memeory serves-maybe it don’t.

That's exactly my point.

Coach Yates is the one saying that JJ was missing talked (reference to 2009). JJ was solid in 2008, in particular at the Poinsettia Bowl — it was as if he was the ONLY Bronco making takles (ok, except that one TCU rushing touchdown whiff).

JJ is a great player...

with a lot of potential and that makes his expectations as a player a lot higher, especially from coaches.

Look at Kyle Wilson for example. He’s going to get drafted in the first round next month and I’m sure we all have something we can nitpick at him about.
