Worst quote from the Graham story:
“I know we didn’t finish where we wanted or anyone else wanted, but we were still respectable,” Graham said. “It’s not like we lost every game by a bunch of points.”
Why would you say something like that? “We met no one’s expectations, but it’s not like we got blown out all the time.” As if putting it that way makes a failure of a season okay?
The rest of the article actually makes some good points in favor of keeping Graham (like graduation rate, APR, past success).

I thought the same thing about that quote...
I’m sure many other people have too.
With Graham’s attitude, the basketball program will never be consistently by successful. Changing the perception of the program will not be a one year turnaround. It will take a few years of winning consistently before perceptions change and people actually show up for the games.
It’s time to reboot. Get a new coach!!

I can see the rally posters now

Wow.
Even Akey is a better coach than this guy.

I believe we have our quote of the day. And from Lapray, no less.
