Seantrel Henderson
The February 5th online edition of the Sporting News had an interesting article on Seantrel Henderson, who's ranked as the # 1 offensive lineman in the 2010 recruiting class. He has verbally committed to USC, but will not sign a LOI until he sees how USC fares with their NCAA investigation. If the Trojans get hammered, this kid in all likelihood will decommit from USC. The only other schools he's considering are Ohio State and Miami. Just for the hell of it, Coach Pete should contact Henderson, and talk to him about Ryan Clady's development while at BSU. Better yet, Petersen should have Clady give Henderson a call! He's the best right tackle in the NFL, and should be able to get this kid to at least take a look at the Broncos. All uncommitted recruits have until April 1st to sign, so Coach Pete would have plenty of time to go after this kid. Of course, Henderson might be one of those elite high school athlete pains-in-the-ass, which in that case the Broncos would be better off without.
What do all you other OBNUGer's think about this?

Probably not.
- His interests are USC, Ohio State, and Miami. Sounds like someone is looking for fame and prestige.
- He wants to bail on USC if things go wrong. Sounds like he doesn’t want to overcome any trials.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but to me, it doesn’t sound like a Boise State “fit.”

I do not blame
kids for seeing the issue surrounding possible sanctions…..Not sure the kid would fit in here in Boise …never know- could be a great hard working kid.

- If the Broncos make a run at the 2010 NC, he’d be getting plenty of fame and prestige.
- I think he’s just being judicious in waiting for the other shoe to drop regarding USC’s possible NCAA sanctions, prior to signing his LOI. He shouldn’t suffer for violations he had absolutely nothing to do with.
- I do agree that he might not be a good fit for the Broncos.
I think it is time for me to buy stock in bullet points.
Obviously you're not a golfer...
