Hamstring injury to limit Kyle Wilson at Combine; interviews and bench press still a go
A hamstring injury will keep former Boise State cornerback Kyle Wilson from doing any running and jumping at the 2010 NFL Scouting Combine currently underway in Indianapolis. Wilson strained his hamstring during a workout in Orlando, Fla. last week.
“We were just doing some overspeed running with some bungee cords,” Wilson said. “It just happened when I was running. I wasn’t doing anything special.”
No 40 time for Wilson at the Combine. No showcase of speed and vertical leap. But he will be able to bench press and interview with the teams. He is expected to make up the missed drills at Boise State's Pro Day on Friday, March 26.
(ed's note: Wilson's brother confirmed the injury to OBNUG, in case you were skeptical of the dubious "News Grabber" source.)

That sucks!
I was really, really hoping this report was from Onion Sports.
"Everyone counted us out. I don't know why they keep doing that." -- Kyle Wilson

I was looking forward to watching him!
