Around SBN: Tiger Woods Makes His 2012 PGA Tour Debut

Andy Staples from Sports Illustrated did a re-ranking of the recruiting classes of 2007 with the clarity of hindsight. I was pleasantly surprised to see where the Broncos were ranked.

Wicked find!

HT all the way for you tomorrow morning (if I had anything to say about it, which I don’t).

Drew should do a follow up article on this. That would be awesome.

Thanks

I was excited to see somebody finally re-rank recruiting classes based on production. I knew Boise State would rank higher than the initial ranking, but I certainly didn’t expect to see them as high as #2. It seems like the Broncos are finally starting to get some consistent national respect. Haha now lets hope there are some good leaders on the team this year & they play to their potential or I could easily see them losing much of the “respect” they’ve earned over the last several seasons.

I also liked how he called out the recruiting publications for favoring teams with more subscribers/fans.

Personally, I would much rather be on the top of this list than the current recruiting ones. It’s just another testimony to the great coaching we have in Boise.

I finally understand why we get no props on recruiting class.

You’d think after watching us the last several years the “talking heads” would understand we must do something right. #68 on rivals initially? I like that he featured KM and called him Heisman candidate w/o the usal qualifiers/diminishments.
