San Diego St. butchered Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl 35-14 and their Freshman RB, Ronny Hillman, set the Bowl rushing record with 228 yds on 28 carries (an eye popping 8 ypc avg). Their QB threw for 276 yds and their leading receiver gained 165 yds on 8 catches.
Again, despite all the major disappointments that seemed to pile up concerning the MWC....the TV contract, the loss of Utah and TCU, the WAC 2.0 talk...I still think this is going to be a move up for BSU in terms of competition and especially behind the scenes in areas of Academics, incoming money, and overall exposure that aren't immediately apparent to us as football fans.
I'm really looking forward to next year.
