The Mikrino Poll: Mikrino descends upon Boise! Yep, you're welcome. Oh, and Idaho gets curbstomped in Moscow, you're welcome for that too.

I know what you're thinking, and yes, it is that awesome. I'm coming to town, it's like Santa Claus, except cooler, and for reals and stuff. My family and I will be in town this week for some family functions, and a bit of homecoming. So if you're walking through the BoDo and get blinded by the alabaster light emanating from my being, have no fear, I'm a Bronco fan of the utmost proportions.

Okay, egos aside, I plan to not be around a computer much this week, what with family plans and all that. SO you make out like bandits, Obnuggers. You get to hate me all week on the poll and there's nothing I can do to stop you. Except for making the hate me option the least desirable one available, but that seems to matter little these days.

So follow me on this week's Mikrino Poll. Where Idaho gets nasty and inebriated, and that's just the beginning. Also I'm down for tossing back a few with some fellow Obnuggers should it come to pass. Though my time will be limited, and I will not be in Boise for the Idaho game (at least I don't think so), I can sign autographs, kiss babies, shake hands, you know... the fun stuff!

You get the idea. I despise him.

Idaho has developed a certain sense of confidence (arrogance) and pride (arrogance), since Akey's arrival on the Palouse. Which is funny to me because they still aren't a very good football team, but now they think they are. The "Fiesta Bowl" last year in Bronco Stadium against, Bowling Green?, led to Texas sized heads ballooning in Moscow. Way to go Vandals, carry that momentum into 2010 why don't cha. Oh wait... not so much;

The Vandals have managed to lose to every half-way decent team on their schedule so far. Way to parlay that winning season and Bowl game win right back into mediocrity, Robb. What a great coach! Idaho is 4-5 and remember how I said after last year they now think they're a good team? Well apparently just thinking it doesn't make it so, you actually have to be it too. So much for last year's Fiesta Bowl. Am I right TCU?

Idaho hangs their hat one statistical category; Passing Offense. They rank 4th, narrowly ahead of Boise State in 5th. That's it. That's all they got, literally. Anyone watch the Hawaii game last week? Yeah, well this is Hawaii 2.0, except worse, and the game will be played in a horse barn filled with intoxicated co-eds ready to hurl themselves from third-story dorm windows and then wear their own vomit like a badge of honor. Should be a blasty-blast! I still wonder why they don't recruit better...?

Seriously, expect to see a repeat of last week. It should be fun to watch. The Vandals do not rank higher than 82nd in any defensive category. Which is why Colorado State can beat them. It is also why the Broncos should easily drop 60 on Saturday without even trying. Being that this is the last time the Broncos will be able to rag-doll the Vandals for awhile, I say Coach Pete gives them something to remember us by. A little token of why the Broncos are infinitely better than any Idaho team, EVER. I think it'll happen. Crazy trick plays, opening on-side kickoff, on-side kickoff everytime, something special will take place this week. Count on it.

I think we'll see an encore of the 4-2-5 again this week, since it worked to perfection against Hawaii. No.1 passing team shutdown, why not No.4? I see no reason this doesn't continue. I also predict Shea McClellin, Ryan Winterswyk, Billy Winn, and Chase Baker having a field day with Nathan Enderle. We already know they are immortal-winged-beasts-of-fury. Add in that Idaho has given up a 117th ranked, 32 sacks, and you have a perfect storm of epic proportions on your hands. I predict a sack count in the double digits, and -100 yards rushing for the Vandals. Did I mention they sport the 116th Rushing Offense in the nation? This ought to be tons of fun for Akey's Army, no?
