Sorry, but this post will be short and sweet due to a broken arm. (One-handed typing is neither easy nor fun.)

Western Michigan at Central Michigan
Line CMU by 4
Root for WMU Broncos.
Why? Akey's squad beat WMU. An improved WAC SOS helps our Broncos.

2 Doug Martin Games
Fresno State at Louisiana Tech
Line Bulldogs by 3
Root for Bulldogs
Why? At 5-2, and with a final game against Illinois, there's still time for the Bulldogs to provide our Broncos with a semi-nationally respected opponent come season's end.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wyoming at New Mexico
Line Cowboys by 9
Root for Cowboys
Why? With only 2 wins under its belt, we will take any win they can muster. It won't boost our SOS much, but it's better than another loss.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
California at Washington State
Line Golden Bears by 14
Root for Golden Bears
Why? Nevada's best win of the year remains Cal. A better Wolfpack reputation boosts the importance of our showdown in Reno.

#7 Nebraska at Iowa State
Line Cornhuskers by 18
Root for Cyclones
Why? The more losses for top 10 teams, the better
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#8 Oklahoma at Texas A&M
Line Sooners by 3
Root for Aggies
Why? The more losses for top 10 teams, the better
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#9 Wisconsin at Purdue
Line Badgers by 20
Root for Boilermakers
Why? The more losses for top 10 teams, the better. Plus, Toledo beat Purdue.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toledo at Northern Illinois
Line N/A
Root for Rockets
Why? Sitting at 6-3, the Rockets are turning out to be a very pleasant surprise. Let's hope they can continue to boost our SOS.

#22 VaTech vs GaTech
Line Hokies by 12
Root for Hokies
Why? Our best win can continue to impress voters. A win over a BCS conference champ would be almost impossible to ignore. Getting by the Yellow Jackets is a must.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#1 Oregon vs Washington
Line Ducks by 35
Root for Huskies
Why? A Ducks loss would move the Broncos up one spot and into serious contention for NTG inclusion.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#3 TCU at #5 Utah
Line Horned Frogs by 5
Root for Utes
Why? Winning out will be much tougher for the Utes, with games at Notre Dame and underrated San Diego State looming ahead.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#6 Alabama at #10 LSU
Line Tide by 6
Root for Tigers
Why? Best case scenario: Tigers beat 'Bama, then lose to Razorbacks. 'Bama loses to LSU, then take down Auburn. Auburn loses SEC Championship game. No SEC team ends season with fewer than 2 losses, opening the door for our Broncos.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#21 Baylor at #17 Oklahoma State
Line Cowboys by 8
Root for Cowboys
Why? One of TCU's wins was over Baylor, which is having an unexpected strong season and boosting TCU's SOS in the process. Every percentage point counts
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
#23 Nevada at Moscow's Mutts
Line Wolfpack by 11
Root for Wolfpack
Why? Our Broncos need one more ranked team on its schedule to have a realistic shot at NTG.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oregon State at UCLA
Line Beavers by 5
Root for Beavers
Why? We want our 2nd premier win of the season to gain as much relevance as possible. Beating the Bruins is a necessary next step.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
My pick for impact game of the week...
Utah. If the Utes down the Horned Frogs, we should move up one spot - particularly since we will be playing a very good Hawaii team this week.
Runner-up goes to...
VirginiaTech. If the Hokies can run the table and become ACC champs, people will once again become very impressed with our opening victory at their "Home away from Home: FedEx Field".
