After the jump, I submit a simple poem to honor our hard-hitting defensive leader Jeron Johnson.
An ode to Jeron Johnson
I think that I shall never see
as big a hitter as twenty three
with reckless abandon always played he
poor Russell Hill, the bell tolled for thee
From Compton, CA came he whence
A natural leader on a vaunted 'fense
He made INTs and knocked some sense,
into receivers whom he made tense
But now the time has come at last
and senior day is approaching fast
Saturday, fans will once more stand aghast
Behold! Jeron Johnson: iconoclast!
And....BOOM! goes the dynamite
Thanks for the memories, Jeron!
