Is all truly lost? I think perhaps we have a crazy outside shot at the Fiesta...provided cards fall where they need. Bronco Nation needs a few things to happen...chiefly, that Wisco leaps Stanford in the BCS. If Wisco doesn't do it in a few hours, stop reading as the rest of this post is moot. That said, if Stanford gets bumped to 5 instead of simply taking BSU's vacated position, the Cardinal are not guaranteed a BCS berth. They would fall into the "at-large" pool with a #9/10 BSU.

We need also for Oregon to win out...mandating the Rose select TCU.

We need to Orange to take the Big East champ, which might likely happen considering fanbase issues.

SEC and Big 10 conferences will already have the maximum allowed two schools.

The Fiesta takes the Big-12 champ...Oklahoma....and sets up a potential BSU vs OK rematch. We've proven we travel to Glendale, and though this would a be a full week earlier than we all initially hoped, I think fans would quickly get over their disappointment if the opportunity arose.

It would come down to BSU or Stanford. I am fairly certain we'd match the energy and attendance that Stanford would bring...and it is a proven commodity...and, oh my hypefest that rematch would inspire.
