Boise State Still Marching Towards the BCS National Title Game

Boise State has lived up to their pre-season expectations and took another step in their march towards the Bowl Championship Series National Title Game. Under a national television spotlight, the Bronco's 51-0 domination of a strong, bowl bound, Fresno State team Friday sent a clear message that Boise is playing at a level worthy of one of the two national championship slots.

What is lost in the one-sided box score is Coach Pat Hill’s Bulldogs who, having had slow starts in almost all their games this season, came out of the gates playing inspired football. As the first quarter progressed, it appeared the Broncos may be in the midst of a hard-fought battle to extend their home game winning streak to thirty-one.

In Friday's game, Boise’s Heisman contender quarterback Kellen Moore overcame an interception and fumble in the Bronco’s first two possessions, to post 333 passing yards, 4 touchdowns.
