Pat Forde speaks up for us again.
"I still have Boise #2 in my power poll... The thing that I don't understand is people that just don't want to give Boise a chance to begin with... that look at a team that has won every game since that Oregon game in 2009 all the way through 'til now. [Boise] has played everybody on the schedule, answered all the questions. The people that are just looking for excuses to drop them - I don't like that."

Why is it that an Oklahoma or even a Georgia Tech would not drop in the polls after having won 59-0? But we do?
It's because people still perceive our Broncos to be the younger brother of their "Big Brother BCS schools". Keep believing that. Because guess what?
Little brother's all grown up now. And he has not forgotten all the times Big Brother teased him. >;-]

I saw that segment also. I figure if nevada can win every game on their schedule until they play boise.....
they could get as high as 12th? Fresno doing well will help too. Just beatdown 3-2 toledo tomorrow and all will be well.
I'm all about covering the spread and moneylines. Glory favors the bold. Chance favors the prepared mind. Luck, well i have that too. University of Utah goes to the Pac-12 conference in 2011. I expect them to compete immediately for the conference CG. Brock Lesnar will defeat Cain Velasquez. The most hated and misunderstood person on the MMA blogs.. Utah and Boise take care of business in week one. Don't be surprised if they both go undefeated.

I think it's more likely...
that Oregon has to lose a game before falling back behind Boise St. That SoS is the glass ceiling a recent Texas visitor to our site was talking about. It’s like the U.S. Tax Code…not usually enforced but available if needed to separate the AQ’s from the non-AQ’s.
I’m sure we have all noticed how pollsters won’t normally jump one BCS team over another regardless of the disparity in their respective SoS’s. It is used as a last resort tiebreaker with them.
But when it comes to non-AQ schools it is the first rule enforced and preferred weapon of choice for keeping the little guy in check and the money flowing to the AQ’s.
