A hail storm of controversy was unleashed this week when it was predicted that the first Bowl Championship Series poll will likely have the Boise State Broncos at #1.

Reading all the arguments, reasons, and rationales as to why a BCS non-automatic qualifying team like Boise State does not deserve to play in the title game has started to sound like BCS proponent "old hash." In most instances these critics offer poor, or no, analysis of records or schedules. Instead  they offer the same old illogical pro-BCS drool on why Boise would not achieve such lofty rankings by the end of the season.

So lets take a compilation of the reasons as to why Boise State won’t stay in the National Championship hunt - and then give the reasons why they will.
