Can you believe that a few people at espn are hyping barkley for heisman next year?

Printkellen moore's stats make matt barkley's stats look jv. close to three times the td's and 1/4 the interceptions. plus a passer rating much higher than the trojan. he has two years i think after this season. Andy dalton has much better stats too. more td passes and less interceptions. plus many more yards running with the ball. usc loses alot of players too. not only will barkley not win the heisman he won't even be invited to n.y. best usc does next year is 11 wins, more like 10. both boise state and tcu have another chance to run the table and be undefeated. these are the guys who should be getting some recognition and getting "real" justified hype in their chances for the heisman. i'm glad the coaches of each team are getting some national recognition. lets hope it trickles down to the quarterbacks.

i don’t think he will win it as a junior either or even be invited to n.y. to me he looks a step below john david booty.

To me.
I try to never think of negatively towards another athlete competing for the Heisman. They’re student-athletes just like Moore (ok, so nobody’s just like Moore) and shouldn’t be wished bad things would happen to them.
…unless, of course, “bad things” means no stupid media hype, like your article suggests.

Barkley is good, I bet they come back as a top 3 team and Barkley will be sitting next to Kellen in New York :)
