Some analysis of Ryan Mathews' 3 TD runs

I was bored this morning and decided to pull up my recording of the game last night and tried to figure out what in the heck happened on Ryan Mathews' 3 TD runs. Here's the breakdown from what I could see. Definitely had some missed tackles but our linebackers are going to need to shed some blocks.

2nd quarter - 7:44: Mathews 69 yard TD.
Defense is Jeron Johnson and Jason Robinson at safety. Aaron Tevis, Derrell Acrey, J.C. Percy at linebackers. Johnson is on the short side of the field and follows the motion guy towards the center of the field to the hash mark before the snap so now he is lined up head on with Mathews. Ball is snapped and both Acrey and Percy are blocked by linemen while Tevis is on the other side of the field. Jeron then flails at Mathews and totally wiffs on the tackle.
2nd quarter - 5:09: Mathews 60 yard TD.
Defense is Jason Robinson on the short side of the field opposite Cedric Febis(?!) and Winston Venable. Linebackers are Percy and Mackey. Ball is snapped and the weak side guard pulls. Percy does a good job of filling the hole by meeting the pull guard in the gap and blocking it up. Mackey follows Percy and gets blocked by a linemen. Mathews then cuts the ball back to the strong side. Febis comes up to make the tackle and totally wiffs. Mathews then cuts back again and Robinson wiffs on a tackle.
4th quarter - 13:39: Mathews 69 yard TD.
Defense is Jeron Johnson and George Iloka at safety. Percy, Acrey, and Tevis at linebackers. Tevis is playing pretty much on the line on the wide side of the field. On the snap, everyone blocks down to their right to the wide side of the field as the fullback basically pulls from the slot and picks up the backside DE Byron Hout. The strong side guard blocks Acrey (and really just owns him on this play). The weak side guard somehow manages to step to the inside of Billy Win and get a good seal on him and then somehow transfers this block to the weak side tackle and then the guard continues on and blocks Percy. All the while, Mathews starts right and cuts it back inside of the block by the fullback and then between the seem of the weak side guard and tackle. Great blocking but no one picks up Iloka. He takes himself out of the play by flying in on the strong side and forcing the cutback by Mathews. At this point Jeron has beat his block is poised to make the tackle only fly right by Mathews and wiff another tackle.
Outside of these 3 plays, Mathews really didn't do anything.
