Playoff not the only way to fix college football
Considering that Boise is one of the teams that doesn't get a shot at a national title, I want to know your opinion on my idea to make college football more competitive. Basically it would get rid of some of the less competitive teams from the smaller conferences and consolidate teams like Boise State, Utah and BYU into three super conferences.

Still not an answer.
Let me provide for evidence (excluding non-BCS teams):
2004 – 3 undefeated teams. Only 2 played in the NC game.
2006 – 1 undefeated team, 4 1-loss teams. Only 1 1-loss team was selected to play in the NC game.
2007 – 2 1-loss teams, 9 2-loss teams. 1 1-loss team and 1 2-loss team plays in the NC game.
2008 – 0 undefeated teams, 7 1-loss teams. Only 2 played in the NC game.
It doesn’t matter if we make “super” conferences. The BCS can only ever pair 2 teams in the NC game due to biases even amongst it’s automatic qualifying conferences as it is. The only time the BCS pairs up the only 2 deserving teams is when the stars are alligned correctly as they were in 2005.
