Graham Watson Roast/Bandwagon Page
So we all know that Graham Watson is completely full of ... well a lot of crap. This page is dedicated to all the dumb things she says throughout the offseason and into the regular season.
Please post your favorite Graham Watson quotes. We will track them, have a history of her bandwagonness, and use them to completely make fun of her - because we all know that if it isn't Oregon that will knock off Boise State, it's Nevada. And if it's not Nevada then it's La Tech. And it's not La Tech it's Fresno... and I'm just going to stop before it gets to Idaho.
This content was not created by OBNUG and therefore may not meet our standards. On the contrary, it probably exceeds them.

Playing Utah State at home is considered a tough game
On June 2, Graham wrote on her blog that BYU has one of the toughest non-BCS schedules this year. They play Oklahoma… but here’s what Graham said:
The Cougars have one of the toughest nonconference schedules in the country, which includes a trip to Tulane and home games against improving Florida State and Utah State teams.
Apparently, playing Utah State at home is now worthy of getting you a tough schedule… really?

Yes…an improving ACC team that is only a few years removed from being a national power seems pretty on par with an improving WAC bottom-feeder that hasn’t had a winning season in 12 years.

Having Luke Lippincott Back Improves Our Completion Percentage
Vai Taua had 1,521 yards and 15 TD’s in 2008.
Luke Lippincott had 1,420 yards and 15 TD’s in 2007.
Nevada has one running back on the field at a time in the pistol offense.
Somehow Luke’s return is taking pressure off of Kaepernick and should improve his completion percentage.
The actual title of Watson’s post was:
Lippincott’s Return Helps Kaepernick’s Passing
And what was said:
But the addition of Lippincott, who missed most of last season after tearing his ACL and MCL, will be a huge weight off Kaepernick’s shoulders and perhaps give him more time to work on his throwing.
Again. One running back on the field at a time. Makes sense, huh!

"GW" is so the rage.
It’s Friday and that means it’s time for the mailblog. I wish I had some sort of crazy slogan or sound that played every time I said that. Kinda like Pee Wee’s Playhouse used to have. That would be cool.

A PeeWee's Playhouse sound?
I’m not sure she knows what “cool” means.

Too late...
Easiest nonconference schedules among the non-AQs: #5. Boise State: I went back and forth on whether the Broncos or Ohio had an easier schedule, and I settled on Boise State because I don’t think Oregon is as good as Penn State (which plays Ohio).
…later that day…
** And I forgot to mention the game against Tulsa (that whole extra game when a team plays at Hawaii tripped me up).
So, it was neck and neck with Ohio, but then she screwed up, but she can’t go back and change it.
Classic Graham.

1. Idaho: If you take Colorado State out of the mix, Idaho’s remaining three nonconference opponents — New Mexico State, Washington and San Diego State — combined to post a 4-32 record last season, and Washington, the lone BCS team on the schedule, had no wins.
Well I guess New Mexico State is not in the WAC anymore. Poor Graham.

2013
Colorado
at Washington State
at Boise State
Utah has at least two BCS teams on its schedule through the 2013 season, and while Colorado and Washington State aren’t the powers of football, there’s no telling what they’ll be in three or four years. And, of course, the series with Boise State will be great for both teams as they continue to strive for BCS bowl games…
… but adding BCS opponents, especially in 2013 when Utah travels to both BCS games, is a surefire way to make sure a team puts itself in the best possible position the BCS standings start winding down.
Boise State is now a BCS team apparently, sorry Colorado. =[

Graham isn’t a fan of proofreading her own blog….to heck with professional customs!

She's a visionary!?
I know what it is….she’s predicting Boise State to be a BCS by the year 2013, SUHWEET!

Thanks for the link
She seemed a touch out of her league in that interview. Not real confident about her stance. I really don’t think she is too excited about having this job? I think maybe she see’s it as a step down from covering the bigger BCS teams. It is a HUGE responsibility, but I don’t think anyone wants it (except maybe us). I don’t know, I really want to like her…….It’s just…

My reason #1 for joining the PAC-10
1- Ted Miller blogging about us. He’s a great blogger, and has that edge of funny, too. He’ll never compete with the blog team here, but he writes well enough that I visit him daily.
Oh, and he doesn’t hate Boise St.

This is good...
Hey forum8 – I like the post, but I have a problem with your picture. It seems like there should be someone else right next to you… the fiesta bowl right?… ya… somethings missing…
Someday I hope to look in a mirror and see something special... something like a coach pete protoge'.

Yeah...
He definitely needed to be cropped out of that pic :)

What can I say?
Some people just make other people look bad. I’m like the BSU secondary to his 19 for 50. And you know Kapi be trying to crop that crap out.

Kapi...crop...crap
Hey Graham, try to say that 10 times fast!

Wow I never knew Graham would find a talent better than blogging. Good for her.
Ten years later, an African-American women walks into The New York Publishing Company with a book of tongue twisters set for print. Unfortunately, only two people ever purchased it…A ONE-time WAC Offensive Player of the Year who sits the pine in the Hawks bullpen and an African-American Richie Brockel.

Watson rides again
Watson regarding what it would take to get the BCS to change it’s ways:
Unfortunately, it might have to take a team such as USC, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida being left out of the championship despite an undefeated or one-loss season to make it happen.
Does Graham not know that this VERY thing happened last year? USC, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida were ALL one-loss teams, two of which were left out of the “championship.” Also left out were 1-loss Texas Tech and undefeated Utah and Boise State.
Who is her editor? And what is there e-mail address?

I do think Idaho is going to be much better than it has been in some time. I agree that Akey has the team moving in the right direction and with several returners and a full complement of scholarships, the Vandals could get out of the WAC cellar. In fact, I fully expect that.
And I expect to be king of Australia.

I feel sorry for you guys
She is a pathetic excuse for a blogger. Ted Miller puts her to shame. I have to check his blog daily. He even has great mailbag pieces. I tried to read a little of Graham Watson’s blog just to see what was going on with the non-AQ’s, but I had to stop. It was killing me. How she has a job doing this, I haven’t a clue.
Best wishes on ridding yourselves of that. At least with this forum you can enjoy it a little bit.

Wow I just discovered this...
…and finally I have somewhere to air my grievances about this AWFUL writer. I guess I’ll have to poke around a little bit to find out how this whole hate spray started between OBNUG and GW.
Can anybody provide me with links or cliffnotes, por favor?

Who is Graham Watson really?
Thought this was pretty funny.
This came from a reader’s comment after one of Graham’s 6 blogs about McDietCoken’s gay slur.
I myself now see him (and his media friends that laughed in the background) as an opportunistic integrity-less tick.
Burn!
