Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

They all want to say Boise State...but they have to pander to the BYUs and Utahs to keep readership up.

(even though I think the defining win over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl was an aberration)

That made me roll my eyes again. The O-line won this game for us. When you win it in the trenches, it’s not an aberration.

Yeah

I didn’t get that part either. I had to look up the word “aberration.”

Non-BCS conference schools

Boise State is the best non-BCS conference team at beating other non-BCS conference teams. But until the scheduling philosophy changes, that’s all the Broncos can lay claim to…

At least Boise State can beat...

the non-BCS teams it faces. It’s kind of sad the way Fresno gets all jacked up to play a BCS school only to lose and ruin the rest of its season as it consistently drops a couple games to WAC foes.

Is it me, or there some kind of back room, “good ole boy”, collaboration by sports journalists and TV personalities to constantly backbite Boise State football? Boise State is ranked #1 in several statistical catergories and in the TOP 10( in the country not the NON BCS) in nearly ALL revelant offensive AND defensive stat rankings, and yet they have a constant stream of doubters from every website and cable station around, as to their legitimacy.

1. They have best overall record in the last decade, in ALL of college football! How are they NOT the best NON BCS team? That stat alone should be the deciding factor is who is best or not. The best win the most don’t they?

2. 70-5 Boise State’s home record is also the best in college football in the last 10 years. Are you kidding me?

3. 60-4 Boise State’s conference record also is tops in the nation since 1999. Keep in mind, none of the four losses came at home. Did you hear that Graham? Boise State has not loss a conference home game in TEN YEARS!! That should be useful for your erronious predictions this year.

Last, the moron who referenced Army as the best NON BCS team of “all time”. How blatantly do you not want to give Boise State their due and proper, that you pick a team from the pre-WWII era? Seriously, is that anything other than avoidance?

Boise State Football has been a winning program for 40 plus years, not just the last ten. I hope that some begin to acknowledge the accomplishment and hard work that the kids and the coaching staff put forward, even when the odds are against them.
