Question about the Content on this site.
Growing up in Oregon I am a full time Ducks fan, having lived in Idaho for 5 years now I am a part time Broncos fan, meaning anytime BSU is not playing the Ducks I cheer for them. That being said please do not take offense when I say it seems like there is a lot of talk about the Oregon Ducks on this blog, I mean it is almost like the people here cannot get enough of them. Whether it is talking about the New Coach they have or the uniform redesign. Also I noticed the O in your main picture bares an uncanny resemblance to the Oregon O it is just a different color. I my question is this. What are the general feelings towards the Oregon Ducks on this site. Personally I am a huge Ducks fan but I have a huge amount of respect for the Broncos and all that they have accomplished.
Looking forward to a great game in September, See you at Bronco Stadium and GO DUCKS!!!!!!

First game of the year…biggest game of the year.
That is about the extent of the Duck “obsession” here as far as I can tell. People ‘round here are itching for football season and the Ducks are first on the slate. Beyond that, this site allows its members to post their own content via fanshots and fanposts…as the Ducks are relevant right now, you may see some Duck talk find its way into the sidebar. Frankly, I don’t see any more Duck talk here than everything else. Right now there are no Duck posts on the fanposts bar and 1 in the fanshots bar. Not sure you’re “all things Duck” theory is holding up so far.
That said, I personally have a lot of respect for the Ducks and their program. I’m sure most Bronco fans are grateful that OSU and UO had enough balls gumption to come play the Broncos on the blue. Should be a great game in September and surely we’ll all be rooting for the Ducks after the 3rd, win or lose (preferably lose…the Ducks, that is)

The O
Obviously, the O stands for “One” in our acronym-ed website’s domain name. The resemblance to the Oregon “O” is coincidental… maybe. Perhaps there is conspiracy here. I blame the Intern.
Speaking of which. I now have new suspicions relating to Kevan’s earlier post regarding BSU’s theme o’ the year
I can honestly say I have no idea what this one refers to. One competitive non-conference game? One more year in the WAC and then the Broncos are so out of there? Kyle Wilson? I need a little more background before I’m going to choose an option as vague as this. Otherwise, it just seems like math.
…or, “One!” Bronco Nation Under God. Fess up, Kevan! YOU suggested this one to the Boise State athletic department!

I just think the O looks a little weird.
If you had it as a B or a horsey or something, I think it’d mesh better.

Oh duck fan man
Such a curious fella. We’re just stoked because Oregon (thats you) is probably our biggest game this year. Also Boise St fans want to know what their team can do and want the nation to know as well. Plus we hardly get to play BCS teams, and especially at home where we know many teams don’t escape victorious. Also its the biggest home opener BSU has had and the first big game of the season. Sorry you’re team has to be the victim, but thats the way she goes. hope this helped, ripcityroycity, whatever the hell that means.
- Go Broncos.

I just looked up your schedule.
We are the only big game of the year for you. Aside from the usual tough match up from Fresno State minues the last two years. I am sorry your out of conference schedule is so weak. I think winning that fiesta bowl made the big boys scared to play you. I am just glad my team has the balls to face you the first game of the season.
PS ripcityroycity = Rip City is another name for Portland Oregon coined by long time Blazers announcer Bill Schonely when I first signed up for SB Nation it was simply to follow the blog Blazeredge the roy city part refers to Brandon Roy who is our teams star.

B-Roy.....?
Wasn’t he a Huskey? Is it ok for Oregon fans to idolize former rivals? John Freiz is about the only player from Idaho I can remember to come out as a pro, and I think most BSU fans who were Chargers fans switched teams. I guess it’s different though, since you can’t really have the entire state of Oregon hating the Trail Blazers………..

lol true
It was hard at first but Brandon is now a staple of Oregon so i think it is ok to rout for him now.

Ducks
Just to throw in my two cents, I’m personally a big duck fan— as long as they’re not playing us! They are a fun team to watch!
Someday I hope to look in a mirror and see something special... something like a coach pete protoge'.

Dude I love you avatar....
It has long been my opinion that the Broncos should go back to their old jersey style and logo mabey just an updated version. I honestly have to say I am not the biggest fan of your new logo. I will put in a good word with Nike and see if we can work on getting you guys some new stuff. I am thinking Orange alternate home jerseys would be sick.

I just found out that you guys got new uniforms this season.
not too bad overall.

Orange
I think many of us would like orange alternates – Supposibly a coach (the one who makes the decisions) isn’t a fan. About once a week I dream that we pull the super secret oranges from the super secret closet for the oregon game. (the other 6 days I dream about Megan Fox)*

Re: Megan Fox
I dream the same things, except about Beggin’ Strips.

Supposibly a coach (the one who makes the decisions) isn’t a fan.
That’s how I understand it also. Since a good part of the coaching staff has had ties to UofO and given the colors of their rival, that leads to their distaste for orange.
The orange was ditched even before Koetter. The last time I remember BSU wearing orange at home was a 40 point set back to Cal St. Northridge in 1997. Nutt made sure they went with blue the rest of the season.

@RipCityRoyCity – Ironically enough, I posted another Oregon story this morning. I mean nothing Freudian by it.
