Are we tired of the ND coaching search?

It was new for the past 2 times.

ND looking for a coach is a semi-decadal affair. Get on with another story.

If you want ND to win a Championship, you better hope they join the MAC.

13-0 for boise state

now all that has to happen is texas beats nebraska and gt beats clemson and i’m sure bsu will get a bid. i can’t wait to see tcu ply florida. if it happens. florida could not stop one rb. how are they going to stop 7 rb’s and dalton. i really hope this game happens and tcu wins by 3td’s no more tebow talk for a long time. good luck to the broncos.

by Nick Kroes on Dec 5, 2009 4:39 PM PST up reply actions

definitely exposed

they could not stop ingram or mcelroy. the 7 rb’s of tcu and andy dalton are better. i just hope they match them up. i hope you guys get iowa or penn state. you would dominate either one.

If Texas loses, couldn't Boise get up to #4?

Both Texas and Florida would have to fall to 5/6, but you could conceivably have Alabama #1, TCU #2, Cincy and Boise at #3/#4 (in that order, most likely). Wouldn’t that guarantee a BCS bid for Boise?

by David Hooper on Dec 5, 2009 5:30 PM PST up reply actions

Yes, they can move to #4

5 more likely, as Florida “played a tough game” and won’t fall that much. But a even #3 or #4 ranked Boise isn’t guaranteed anything. The #3/4 clause is only for AQ teams.

Is it really that bad

if Nebraska wins? Think long term: If Texas wns, it shows the BCS system “works”: hey, two non-AQ teams got in! TCU almost played for the national championship! The system works!

Alternatively, undefeated BSU gets shut out, even though Oregon goes: recipe for more anti-trust pressure against the NCAA, which is the only thing that will ever really change the system. Plus BSU will still start next season in the top 5 or so, everyone will talk about how we got screwed this year, and we have a decent chance at the NC game next year if we win out, which is way better than a BCS game against Iowa.

THANK YOU TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to the Fiesta Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you hearing this

all the talk on sportscenter and on the net is that tcu vs bsu fiesta, what a shame.

by bsudayas on Dec 5, 2009 9:45 PM PST reply actions

TCU-BSU, Fiesta bowl???

I would have preferred a Nebraska win followed by resounding national outcry and a major BCS upheaval.

by dirtymule on Dec 5, 2009 9:50 PM PST reply actions

I don't know about that

I was/am hoping they pair us against Iowa and TCU vs GT and then we would have a good possiblilty of two non aq teams getting two wins. The pair between us would mean nothing as far as the outcry of the little guys.

by bsudayas on Dec 5, 2009 9:56 PM PST up reply actions

The irony of it is...

Nebraska’s awesome D-Lineman (whose name I can’t pronounce, spell, or remember) is the one that lost the game for them. On that last throw, Colt McCoy was in no hurry to get rid of the ball, until the Nebraska guy rushed him. If the Nebraska guy had waited even a half a second more, McCoy’s throw would have been too close to be overturned…

Mack Brown has been watching too much LSU football.

"Well, we'll just have to get to know each other a little better then. I like Ferris wheels, college football, and anything that goes more than 200 miles an hour."

by orangecircus on Dec 5, 2009 10:01 PM PST reply actions

absolutley

I completely agree but Mark May as always knows absolutley nothing about football, he made a comment that Muschamp (texas’s d coordinater) would of been the next head coach if they would of lost that game. As poor of clock management that was Mack Brown is a great coach.

by bsudayas on Dec 5, 2009 10:05 PM PST up reply actions

Yup..

Colt had no idea he was running out of clock. He had lost track of time.

by ruffneck on Dec 5, 2009 10:11 PM PST up reply actions

His name is Ndumakong Suh.

I had not thought of that but that is very ironic.
