I may have said 45-7 in my interview with the Aggie website, but I was totally sucking up. I don’t see this game being close. At all. The Aggies will struggle to move the ball against Boise State’s second team defense, much less the first team.

I think the coaches use this opportunity to scrimmage the fill in players. You know, for the injured positions. Plus I feel the Aggies have nothing to loose and will try for big plays over and over.
We also see some crazy play due to senior day but I don’t think they run the score. Let’s just hope and pray we have no more injuries in a game that we only need a simple win.

35-0 at the half

Big game for Couglin, Hodge, Choate, and the brothers Wilson at LB.

And while I’m here, congratulations to the Boise State Broncos on having defeated the team that would go on to win the PAC-10 by two(!!) wins! Hopefully this will be a big help during the selection process. I really want the Broncos in the BCS this year, and I won’t lie — I’m pretty stoked that the Ducks will be facing tOSU rather than a repeat with the Broncos.

I was rooting for you guys. Very good game last night.
My guess is that you will be favored by 7 over the Fightin’ Sweater Vests of Columbus.

That was a good game
Once Blount came in and started running people over, the momentum shifted and the game was over.

A td for the New Mexicans in garbage time. Kyle Wislon comes in at WR for a snap but no balls thrown his way. Kirby gets several catches. run game gets practice

Hmmmm....
Your comment about Wilson coming in as a receiver got me to thinking. I wonder how Jerrell Gavins would do at the WR slot, if Pettis isn’t ready for the bowl game? Gavins runs a 4.3, or better. I don’t have a clue if he can catch a ball, but he is an athlete so I’m betting he can.

Wilson got a 40 yard catch first play of spring scrimmage
over the shoulder type wr catch. Maybe it was less yardage but Wilson can run patterns and make catches

Gavins was in for at least one play at WR.
Way to get into the coaches minds.

48-0
We’ll kick a couple field goals and move the ball more deliberately with the run game because of our decimated receiving corp. Otherwise I’d pick a higher score.

That’s the season average for both teams. Uninspired play should make this an “average” game.

We go up 8-0 on one of those funky 2 PAT’s formation confersions. Then our boys have fun into the 50’s vs. one of their TD’s. Then our 2nd team wants to make a statement as well and scores 4 more TD’s vs. their one. At the gun, 78-14. Coach Pete is a bit embarrassed shaking hands at midfield, but hey…. the fans rush the field, we take the trophy, then wait for the BCS to call after taking care of business on The Blue. Go Broncos!

Aggie Fight Songs and Cheers
And to think I get embarrassed as a USU Aggie Alum (although my orange overcomes my Aggie Blue more and more every year), when they do that stupid “milk the cow” cheer. My wife thinks I am too hard on them, and I’m sure I’m getting old, but holy cow (pun intended) I can’t believe they do that over and over. I want to turn my diploma around on my wall remotely every time I see it.
How weird is it that the Broncos played 3 Aggie teams this year and 2 Bulldogs. … Too bad we couldn’t add Georgia and Texas A&M for the nearly clean sweep of Aggies and Bulldogs.

By the way, Broncos 55 (a missed extra point courtesy of Pettis absence) and NM State 6.

Wasn't it Boise State's first game of the year, too???

Let’s go for the shut-out trifecta, but say that they won’t run up the score because Kellen Moore decides that five touchdowns (plus one each from Martin and Avery) is enough.

Broncos did as expected
got starters out early, gave backups snaps, worked on problem areas , and ended with classy acknowledgment of a mismatched team honorably vanquished
