Starting Lineup for BSU?
How will injuries impact the Boise State gameplan against TCU?
Will Boise be healed up and 100%? I know you had a couple significant injuries in your last couple games:
Pettis suffered the injury during a failed two-point conversion after the Broncos' second touchdowns during last week's 44-33 win over Nevada.
Pettis is the Broncos' second-leading receiver with 62 catches for 850 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Broncos also lost starting linebacker Daron Mackey to a torn anterior cruciate ligament, his second ACL injury in less than a year and a half.
I hear Pettis may return, but can he return at 100%? What about Mackey and how key is he to your defense from your perspective (don't listen to sports writers or announcers)? Other injuries? What is the story of some of your non starters who play and contribute, and who do the BSU faithful want to see have an impact on the game that the announcers and other fans don't regularly watch?
I like Moore, huge fan since last year, but I want to watch the guys you think on the line and backfields on both sides that should be coming up big and if you could give me some insight as to why do you watch those players?
Also, any special human interest stories about your players that make them stand out to you? I'll ask the same of TCU fans and see what we can come up with.
This content was not created by OBNUG and therefore may not meet our standards. On the contrary, it probably exceeds them.

human interest?
How about Titus Young? People gave Coach Pete a lot of bad words for not suspending Hout and accused him of having lax disciplinary standards. What they didn’t seem to know about was the suspension of Titus for most of last season. He could have helped the crap out of BSU against TCU last year, but Coach stuck to his guns. Instead of walking away from the program and starting over elsewhere, Titus knuckled down and earned his way back onto the field. 14 touchdowns later, it’s hard to imagine where BSU would be without him.

From USA Today on TCU:
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
DE Jerry Hughes — Even when he isn’t getting to the quarterback, he’s wreaking havoc in the backfield. The former high school running back is an unbelievable athlete that has 11.5 sacks this season and won Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors.
QB Andy Dalton — Dalton slowly but surely gained national respect this year as a player who is much more than just a game manager, a tag he was stuck with heading into the season as TCU is known for a strong defense and a powerful running game. Dalton tossed 22 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He threw for nearly 2,500 yards and rushed for more than 500 more.
LB Daryl Washington — With Hughes being the focal point of most offensive blocking schemes, Washington has been the perfect compliment, making team’s pay for ignoring him. Washington led the team with 99 tackles and had three interceptions.
WR Jeremy Kerley — There isn’t a more dangerous return man in the Mountain West Conference and some could argue Kerley is as good as there is in the nation. Head coach Gary Patterson has seen to it Kerley get involved in any way possible on offense. Kerley averages 121.8 all-purpose yards per game and has scored touchdowns as a wide receiver (2), a running back (3) and returned a pair of punts for touchdowns this year.
ROSTER REPORT:
—Starting SS Colin Jones missed the final four regular season games with a hamstring injury, but should be available for the Fiesta Bowl. Tyler Luttrell, who started at the beginning of the season, has played well in Jones’ absence and will likely start the Fiesta Bowl.
—Sophomore S Tekerrian Cuba, who started a pair of games this season, missed the final two regular season games at Wyoming and vs. New Mexico with a bad hamstring. He, like Jones, should be available for the Fiesta Bowl.
