Oregon reinstates LeGarrette Blount
Anyone else think that Duck Nation wishes this would have happened last week?

I do.

I don't know Mikrino
LaMicheal James had been doing just fine – I don’t know if Blount would have made a difference or not. Just looked like a typical Oregon implode to me.
On another note (and I desperately hope this isn’t offensive), but I am glad that they reinstated Blount. This guy has nothing but football. If he didn’t get to play this season, I’m thinking it would have killed his value in the draft. What was he going to do then? I’m sure that he’s taking full advantage of his free education at Oregon (uh huh). I just hated feeling like a kid’s entire life was going to be decided on one night. He’s obviously a thug, but I have a hard time wishing poverty on anyone.

He didn't play.
He’ll go the way of Pacman Jones in the NFL, IMO.
But yeah, he should be playing. I thought up front I was awfully hasty to suspended him for an entire season. I think after seeing Brandon Spikes get a half game suspension, and another self-imposed half game suspension, for an arguably much more heinous affront, they gave in.
In terms of “if they need him”. Who doesn’t want one more play maker for opponents to worry about? James has been good, Blount is a change of pace.
They want him on that field, they need him on that field. He goes to sleep every night 3000 feet away from 4000 troops that are trained to….. oops. Nevermind.

YES!
Good comparison Mikrino. That’s exactly who he is – a Pacman Jones. Some people just can’t control themselves enough not to shoot themselves in the foot. Pacman was a freaking debacle 24/7.

Will he be in game shape?
It’s hard to take so many weeks off and get right back to your old self, especially when the only game experience you’ve had is negative yardage against Boise State. Will it be the Ducks’ bowl game before he’s 100 percent?

Good question… but he’s at least been on the practice nearly every week since Boise State, and part of his requirements for reinstatement were to be in good physical condition to play. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s actually in better shape now than he was for the Boise game.
