Actually it puts Boise State AND TCU in a BCS bowl.
- Iowa loss
- Cincinnati loss
- SEC championship game loser falling out of the top 4, or an inexplicable loss knocking Texas out of the top 4.
- Oregon losing or not jumping Bosie State
This could generate a rematch of last years Pointsettia Bowl in this years Fiesta Bowl.

Although it is possible for both teams to get selected to a BCS bowl, the odds of being put in the same game is unlikely. More likely the (possibly) higher ranked TCU would be picked by the Sugar, and Boise State would be off to Fiestaville.

The Bowl Selection:
Assuming no major changes and TCU and Boise State win out. I obviously still want TCU to lose this week and Bosie Staet to lose one.
Texas and the SEC champion placed in the NCG.
Big 10 and PAC 10 champions are placed in the Rose Bowl.
ACC champion is placed in the Orange Bowl.
TCU and Cincinnati are reserved a spot, leaving three at-large spots.
The Sugar Bowl would select the SEC runner up to replace the SEC champion. The Fiesta Bowl would then have the next two selections. USC and TCU are likely. Then the Sugar Bowl picks, with Miami currently looking like a strong candidate. Cincinnati would then fall to the Orange Bowl.
If USC loses another game Bosie State becomes a lot more attractive. If Arizona, Oklahoma State, Penn State and Ohio State are kept out of the top 14 I don’t know that any other team would be a better sell for the Fiesta Bowl than Bosie State. The Orange Bowl would add Miami to the list and maybe Wisconsin.
