One more note about that first link ...

Cripe explains that Boise State won’t get an automatic BCS bid if it finishes No. 3 or No. 4 in the standings provided TCU is still ahead of them. The No. 3 or No. 4 rule only protects BCS conference teams. Of course it does.

Someone needs to Watson the "Charlie Brown" article, I think.

In the article it states that Boise State was ranked 8th at the end of the regular season and Ohio State was ranked 5th. Wasn’t Ohio State ranked 9th? Feel free to Watson me if I am wrong.

In the final BCS rankings Boise State was 9th Ohio State was 10th.

Boise State - The best in all the land (The "land" being Idaho, and large parts of California, Oregon, and Nevada.)

Sorry to disappoint, but no, I’m not the columnist. Then he really would be a “D-bag” :)
I usually enjoy only reading these blogs and rarely participate. But I’m a journalist by trade so my feathers do get ruffled occasionally when writers (regardless of his or her fandom) are unceremoniously dissed by readers who can only defend their positions with name-calling. Intelligent, sportsman-like conduct is supposed to be the hallmark of Bronco Nation. I hope you try it out sometime.

TCU Hype

So much of it… ESPN has been on all day long saying how they’re playing like the best team in the country.

/roll_eyes. It’s nice to know that they’re only watching their past two games against Wyoming and San Diego State. I don’t think Utah will beat them, but it would be great justice vs. ESPN if TCU lost.
