So, I had to write an essay for school the other day. It was supposed to be a descriptive essay, and I was drawing a blank on what I could describe. Then, I looked up on my wall, and met with my inspiration in the form of the Kellen Moore poster hanging above my desk. No, I don't have a life.
Anyway, I don't know how much my teacher appreciated my essay, but I thought I would submit it to a higher judge of Bronco-ness, in you guys. Grades, please?
The starting Quarterback for the Boise State Broncos is a modest young man named Kellen Moore. Although many more prestigious schools did not give the undersized lefty a chance, he has proven himself more than worthy during his time at Boise State. His shy smile, and humble attitude have made him an instant fan favorite, despite the fact that he is not as tall, fast, or strong as other Quarterbacks.
The young Quarterback from Prosser came in with little fanfare, but everyone knew about him when he became the first freshman to start a season opener in Boise State's storied history. All he did in his first season at Bosie State was set a new record for completion percentage in a season, while leading the Broncos to a 12-1 record.
His second season has continued the trend of success which began in his freshman year. So far, the Broncos are undefeated, riding on the capable left arm of Kellen Moore.
And where are the doubters now? Gone. You will only hear praise for the 'Tosser from Prosser', as he leads his team. You will hear praise for his toughness, his accuracy, and his self possesion, which is almost uncanny.
Although you won't hear the humble young Quarterback admit it, the once unheralded prospect is well on his way to becoming a Bronco legend. The precision passer has already claimed the hearts of his fans, with his ever ready smile, but the schools who deemed him inferior are beginning to change their opinion as well.
