Hanging with the Boys
My kiddos, hanging with George Iloka after the game. George insisted on posing them himself. George rocks.
Titus Young. I asked him to do the "hang loose" sign, but apparently he's been forbidden from flashing it again. His girlfriend confirmed. But then he hugged me... And it was all good. Until he had to clear his throat because I wasn't letting go.
Pick your jaw up off the ground. Yes, there's 5 of them. I already told you that I have plenty of kids.
With our friend Jerrell Gavins. This guy is amazing and we're proud to call him "our Bronco". My kids still stare at his hair.
Ain't nothing like the view from the cheap seats. (Student section)

Those are awesome pics Crissie. I sure your kids will remember that for many years to come. Shoot, I think I will remember them for many years to come.

Definately.
I’m printing these pictures out and hanging them on our family wall. Your kids are now my kids.

rec'd! SWEETNESS!
Boise State - The best in all the land (The "land" being Idaho, and large parts of California, Oregon, and Nevada.)
Can't wait till my little nipper gets a bit older...
I’m going to ask Billy Winn to palm his head and lift him off the ground for a pic.
P.S.
You have a really nice camera. o_O

Thanks Lorque!
I WISH I had a sweet camera! I have a hand me down Nikon, but it earns some spending money, which is awesome when the breadwinner is unemployed. I’m fortunate to have it.
Here’s our Christmas card photo. This one took a little bit of planning – we took it in the extreme heat of July. Nothing says Christmas like 110 degrees.
I was able to rent the field a couple of evenings in July and whipped out some family portraits for some diehards. Who doesn’t want a canvas of their family on the Blue hanging above their fireplace?!? It’s not one of my better ones because it’s really hard to photograph yourself, but I’m going to be pretty proud sending it out for Christmas. It proudly hangs in my living room.

Thanks.
For all your nice comments. Right now, a parody is running through my mind… Something like “Mommas, don’t let your babies grow up to be Vandals”. Just doing my part to raise the next generation of Bronco fans. I’m banking on my two little boys to be the next Moore and Lil Moore. My Corban and Hudson are 13 months apart and will be taking Bronco Nation by storm in 2020. They owe me that, right?
I feel so fortunate to be able to take the kids to the game. My husband was a Micron layoff after 14 years, and after two job interviews in the course of 6 months he decided to go back to finish school. (Nothing like raising 5 kids on a student’s budget.) When he told me that full time students get a free ticket, I enlisted as well. Thank you Pell Grants! Between the two of us, we manage 4 tickets to the game. My hubby befriended Jerrell Gavins in one of his classes and since Jerrell’s family is all in Florida, he offered to adopt the rest of our kids as his family. We sit on opposite sides of the stadium from each other, but we all get to go to the game! It’s awesome.
For the game yesterday, my husband borrowed his parent’s trailer and we tailgated for the first time ever! We had to be down there at 4:30 to snag our free spot on University, but it was like waking up in a dream. Sort of cliche, but I almost got teary eyed watching the sun rise over Bronco Stadium. Throw into that mix watching the boys issue a beat down and I was one happy girl.
I’m sorry that I didn’t read the Intern’s post about tailgating yesterday! We’re planning on the Vandal game though.
xoxo

Here's my family at Bowling Green 9-26-09

Boise State - The best in all the land (The "land" being Idaho, and large parts of California, Oregon, and Nevada.)
AWESOME.
Good looking family Mikrino and your wife is beautiful!
I take your awesome chick statement as a big compliment. I’ve always loved football and I’ve loved Boise State since I moved here, back in the days of Pokey Allen. Loved that guy…
I figure my passion for football is because my Dad didn’t have any boys, so he had to teach me to appreciate competition in order to have someone to enjoy the games with. My husband takes that to full advantage in showing off my football knowledge to his buddies. It’s sort of like a stupid pet trick. “Hey Criss!! Show them the signal for block in the back!!!!”.
You guys come to Boise and I’ll set you up with some sweet pics on the Blue. :)

I thought about the BCS fairy as halloween approached. For years whenever the BCS was mentioned I would respond with crudity, vulgarity, obviousness i e male pattern responser . Leave it to a woman to take that same sentiment, same animus, and transform it into something wonderful. Now when I hear BCS I see wings, wings and the beautiful BCS fairy and the angel who portrayed her.If that aint a woman’s touch I don’t know what is.I even had a little BCS fairy redux; a liitle one, younger than yours, came to the house in all her winged glory.i hope our fairy had a great Halloween.

Munson - you crack me up!!!
You would have questioned the gentler sex theory last night as I was screaming at the TV when the rankings came out!!! I am a passionate fan, for sure, but thank you for your compliment. :)
My little fairy had such a wonderful time at the game. The cheerleaders stopped my husband and handed out emails because they wanted to buy her little headband. She certainly thought she was something special! People asked for her photo and George Iloka asked to be sprinkled with some of her BCS dust. Needless to say, she’s still asking to wear the get-up.
I think you're awesome too!
We should get together and do the Foxpsrot(my wife will kill me for saying that). I go back to the Tony Knapp days, when Boise state first played college ball. When I was introduced to Pokey Alen I was holding his baby girl in my arms.

Awww, thanks.
I think you guys all rock. I really appreciate the intelligent commentary, humor and satire. OBNUGers have spoiled me against all other sports blogs – I’m a one Bronco blog woman anymore.
Crissie, Those pictures are all keepers! Good work.
If you are not a professional photographer, you should be.
Keep ’em coming.
Obviously you're not a golfer...
Thanks ty_ol
I’ll be hitting you all up next summer when I’m doing my “Blue” sessions again. I’m a part-time photographer, full-time student and over-time mom of 5! :) Mostly I enjoy photographing my kiddos though. I’m studying photography and graphic design at BSU and I’d love to eventually do more sports photography. I think it’s fascinating that you can break down something as complex and fast paced as sport and freeze it. There’s so much expression and emotion in it.
So awesome!
Unfortunately, it sounds like your boys are going to miss my little brother by a few years, as he won’t be the Bronco’s All American Safety till around 2025.
"Well, we'll just have to get to know each other a little better then. I like Ferris wheels, college football, and anything that goes more than 200 miles an hour."
Hey Orangecircus...
I remember – you’re the other girl in the mix, right?? My boys are 6 & 5, so we’ll just plan on a redshirt year so that they can all play together. :)
Wow, your brother and my son will be teammates then.
I envision my boy being Vinny Perretta-type utility man.
Parents can dream, can’t they?

Hey - THEY OWE US!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve changed an ungodly amount of diapers through my tenure. I DESERVE this dream of mine. :)
How cute is he???
Yep, I agree. That turf is hotter than heck, so get them used to it young! I don’t know how those boys play out there during some of the early season games.
for Crissie's eyes only
You are my munson
my only munson
you make me happy
when skies are grey
although you misspell
and have bad grammar
please don’t take my munson away
