I'll go next

Boise State 37, Tulsa 17

BTW, I’m traveling to Pittsburgh for vacation this week (catching a Steelers and Penn State game) and will be watching the Boise State game in a sports bar there. I highly doubt there will be any Tulsa fans there, so I’m planning on getting the entire bar rooting for Boise State.

Go Broncos.

I have attended every home Boise State football game since 1992.

I hope that Penn State beats the Steelers

Statement Game

I have a feeling players are pissed. Tulsa stays stingy on the run. BSU 34 Tulsa 10

48-10

Disregard my prediction on the podcast. I made it without having learned much about Tulsa this season. They will play hard, but will be unproductive. I am envisioning a similar game to the BG game; quick scores, lots of defense (Bronco D that is).

Boise State will have an OFFENSIVE statement game.

I'm nervous

I agree that Boise State will be pissed and refocused. However, don’t listen to the national media cause Tulsa is a decent team. On the other hand if our D comes ready to play it could be a long day for Tulsa.

Rooting for an injury to the Tulsa QB!

I’m not saying that because I hope our boys play dirty, but rather because I want to see former Meridian High School QB, Jacob Bower, play… and get crushed!

Boise State will dominate tomorrow night. With exception to Oklahoma, Tulsa hasn’t played anyone. Boise State has put up huge numbers on the road this year and it will be the same tomorrow.

Kellen Moore will have a 300+ yard game with multiple TDs. Mad Doug will be back with a vengeance. Bacon will get a sack along with Winterswyk, Winn, and Venable. And Kyle Wilson may even get his first TD… along with Kirby Moore!

Uh oh

The karma gods don’t look favorably on requests for injury! It’s a game. Maybe a little perspective here-that’s someone’s son.

Can a name like Tulsa really carry weight? Really, what have they done this year?

I really think we were just trying to get by UC Davis without injuries to major players. This week we come out and show the nation what kind of fire power BSU actually has. I alos think the defense looks like they did against Oregon.

BSU awakens from their nap

BSU 41, Tulsa 18

KW gets 6 of those points. Voters see a solid team and continue to wonder what would happen if BSU was endowed with BCS-type recruits and financing. If they can operate so well consistently at this level, what would happen if they enjoyed the priviledges of those at the “higher” level?

BSU 44 - Tulsa 10

Boise State will rock n’ roll from the start to get the crowd going home early. The Bronco D and special teams will be the spark plugs with KW getting his first punt return for TD this season. Tulsa will score their TD in the last miunte with help from the officals feeling sorry,

Boise St ---- 45 Tulsa ---- 13

Look for 5 things to happen:

1. Ryan Winterswyk and Billy Wynn combine for multiple sacks and TONS of QB pressure

2. The running game decides to get on the bus and make the trip to Tulsa: 200+ rushing

3. Which opens the door for a 300+ yard, 4 TD night for Kellen.

4. Byron Hout goes the entire game without getting punched.

5. Tulsa gets offensive yardage, but in the end can’t get close enough to score more than one touchdown.

This is what Coach Pete told me as we played golf with Tom Scott, who was dressed as a large Twinkie, in my dream last night. David Augusto cameo’d as a tiny Lilliputian (from Gulliver’s Travels), but except for a bow and arrow, he was firing shirts out of a shirt cannon with a picture of him getting a shoulder hug from Taylor Tharp on it.

Gotta show a bit of Conference USA love.. haha...riiiiiight

I think that us Bronco fans do not give our opponents enough credit. Tulsa is a pretty dang good team. Yes they got absolutely ROCKED by Oklahoma… but they have pretty good players with a great coach. Hell, Coach Pete and some of the assistants shared “secrets” with Tulsa back before they knew they would play each other again. Yet, I of COURSE think that Boise State will win this game but I must give Tulsa more credit than many others have here.

I’d like for them to exceed the 45-0 spread Oklahoma put on them, but I think that Tulsa may get some garbage points.
