Oh the juxtaposition: P-Bowl loss and the obituaries
Grabbed from our Idaho Statesman post-game email. The first item in the "Popular Sections" sidebar is more than a little ironic. (Click for larger view.)
Obituaries indeed. Thanks for rubbing it in, Statesman.

Why didn't Boise let TCU score a TD with 1:53 left in the 4th Q, just after the interception. That would give them about 1:45 to march down the field, score a TD and 2 point conversion to tie. Better odds than what they ended up doing.
Green Bay did this in Superbowl XXXII against the Broncos. They ended up losing, but gave themselves a chance.

Oh yeah, and it is true, Hawaii fans do root for the WAC teams (even Boise State) for Bowl Games. Thanks to the BSU fans who secretly hoped Hawaii could take on Georgia in last year's Sugar Bowl. Sorry to disappoint so badly….
