Oh no. He didn't. Chris O'Neill guilty of word vomit

Boise State senior TE Chris O'Neill should maybe take a second or two to calm down before he writes his Statesman player diary articles.

I definitely think we should have won the game - give TCU its props, but we were the better team out there.

That statement is the ultimate statement of sore losers everywhere. Even if we, a horribly biased Bronco blog, were thinking it (and the thought did cross our mind), we would never verbalize it, much less publish it in the Idaho Statesman on the day after a loss.

Here's hoping we don't get beat up for that.

That's an interesting point you make. I think Chris would have been more accurate to have said we COULD have won the game, not "should" have. They way Boise State missed tackles made it clear they were better athletes, for sure.
And of course, if Brotzman made his 38 yarder, we are having a different conversation. So, I wouldn't exactly call him a sore loser, as much as a bewildered loser.
That's my opinion, at least. But one of the reasons this a good blog is the careful and timely points that pull us into more of an objective frame of mind. So thank you for helping us NOT be the BSU fans that get on the nerves of less enthusiastic college football fans with too much Kool-aid mouth flapping. :)

If I'm not mistaken, all of your game wrap ups sounded awfully like what this kid said. Lots of backhanded compliments, whining about calls, whining about injuries. The fact is, you guys thought you were elite and you weren't. Go Frogs.

So, what does that say about the Frogs then? If BSU is such a joke of a team and your team is elite then why did they only win by 1 point? Shouldn't that mean that they are two very evenly matched teams? Shouldn't that mean the TCU is just barley better than BSU? Anything you say to take away from BSU takes away just as much from your precious Frogs.

saying a team isn't elite is by no means saying that said team is a joke.

I completely agree with Chris O'neill. BSU absolutely 'should' have won that game. They were dominate for most of the game and were displaying a better until the 9 minute mark of the 4th quarter. The problrm becomes that better teams FINISH. TCU finished the game Boise State did not

Boise State SHOULD have won that game. Congrats to TCU on the hard fought win.
