PrintWe routinely joke on this website about Hawaii head coach Greg McMackin and his fascination with cola (see this picture for where it all started). We had no idea that it was true.
"Coach can dance — for an old man," defensive end John Fonoti marveled.
McMackin smiled, and said: "I think I hurt my knee."
He then sipped from a can of Diet Pepsi, drinking in a moment that few outside of his team believed would be possible after a tough start.
Diet Pepsi: for the diabetic in all of us.

I had McMackin pegged as a Mr. Pibb guy…maybe Diet Rite, but nothing passe like Diet Pepsi and certainly no cola with a doctorate like Dr. Pepper
