Yes, Al Davis is still alive. He took time out before the early bird special today to deliver, by all accounts, a bizarre press conference. Check out Deadspin and Pro Football Talk for more of the details.
The most surprising thing to hear though, is that former Idaho head coach Tom Cable has been named interim head coach. Check out his Wikipedia page. Yep, his only head coach experience is at Idaho. Yep, he was 11-35 during his tenure. Oh, what else was that? He blocked for Scott Linehan? This is going to end well.
If you get a chance, try to catch the video of Tom Cable at the press conference. He definitely had the deer in the headlights look when a reporter asked him if he ever thought he'd be named head coach. Good times.
