Exposed secrets of Utah State attendance

A thick crowd as usual

With the news that New Mexico State is in trouble for poor attendance figures, one might rationally wonder why the same isn't true of football black hole Utah State. As it turns out, some Aggies are more unethical than others.

With the way USU counts every student on campus as someone who has purchased a ticket, the Aggies have found a sneaky way to avoid trouble from the NCAA by living up to ‘attendance standards.’
If only they put as much effort into playing their games...

Thank goodness we root for a team whose waiting list alone exceeds NCAA attendance requirements.

This is false, there are over 13,000 undergrad students that attend USU and some 4-5000 grad students. Our last home game (with University of Hawaii) had a total attendance of 12,500.

The truth is that all students pay for tickets in their student fees and then those who wish to attend may simply walk to the game with their ID card and get in for free. We are not counted as attending the game however, unless our ID card is scanned at the gates.

Thanks for making up false rumors about a football program that is already struggling, and Wildcats don't hate Aggies, I'm a Weber State transfer student.
